Liz and John are married at Rockwood!

Liz and John had an elegant wedding on the grounds of Rockwood Mansion, one of my favorite wedding locations! Liz looked beautiful in her lace veil and the event was decorated with natural soft details, as well as unique items from Etsy.com (a website offering artists’ work for sale), including the ring holding dish! The cake’s icing, done by  Sweets to You by Ginger, was made to look like tree bark and they had a wonderful candy bar during cocktail hour with rustic accents, including old wooden crates used as platforms. Chris Horne played acoustic music during the ceremony and once the party started for the reception, it was MC’d by DJ Baby Bubba! Congrats Liz and John!

I’ve been a bit behind on my blog entries, because I’m submitting a number of great weddings in the past two years to publications to be featured. One of those weddings was featured for the Winter issue of DIY Weddings Magazine! Valerie and Paul had a gorgeous day in October, so I just had to share it with the wonderful DIY Weddings! Valerie made most of the details that day, including her veil! They loved it just as much as we did, so they decided to write a story on it! :)

I’m super excited to announce our first bridal show this Monday, March 21st from 7-9pm at the Exton Square Mall:

Date: Monday, March 21, 2011

Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Location: Boscov’s Court (lower level) Exton Square Mall

The show includes a Broadway style bridal fashion show, the latest in designer gowns and tuxedos for your wedding. The Show will kick off with live band & DJ Performances.

Registered guests will receive bridal bags filled with popular magazines and gifts.
And during the show all registered guests will be entered to win great prizes from honeymoons, bachelorette parties to Martha Stewart VIP tickets and many more giveaways.

Join in on the fun and visit us here at the booth, we’ll be holding a raffle as well as a giveaway for the door prizes (Prize will be announced at the show, but a hint is that it is at least $250 in value!). Carly and Artie wed on May 22nd this year in beautiful historic Lewes! They found a little known, but unique venue at the Lewes Historical Society to have their ceremony and reception! It was a gorgeous day and we started it all off by meeting Carly at the Ocean Retreat Day Spa, where the girls were getting pampered and made up for the big event!

They then headed over to Hotel Rodney to get dressed! Me and Albert (my awesome assistant) went on the old elevator up to the room, it was so cool!
