Man, Can Craig Bickhardt Sing!

April 22nd, 2010

I love featuring local artists and musicians on here, since they are the reason I get inspired in the first place with photography. So when I heard Craig Bickhardt on Reverbnation, I had to give a shout out! He is one of those musicians whose songs take you to another place entirely, with soothing melodies [...]

I love featuring local artists and musicians on here, since they are the reason I get inspired in the first place with photography. So when I heard Craig Bickhardt on Reverbnation, I had to give a shout out! He is one of those musicians whose songs take you to another place entirely, with soothing melodies and quaint, beautiful harmonies. I reached out to tell him I loved “Carrying a Dream” and he was so kind to send me two of his albums, Easy Fires and Brother to the Wind, show below!

He’s such a down-to-earth great guy with such talent, please give him a listen soon and visit his site here:

He’ll be playing in Philly at the Psalm Salon on April 24th! Enjoy! :)

I’M SHOWING AT THE GRAND OPERA HOUSE!

:)

July 2nd is the launch of my showing for a month, and I’ll be at The Grand that night from 6-8pm for the Art Loop in Wilmington, DE.

EDIT: It may land on July 9th, because of an apparent holiday I’m not aware of. I’m discussing with the curator at the Grand to see what is the real date of the art loop. I’ll keep you readers updated!

It’ll feature my fine art work in Christiana, PA, focusing on the countryside, with these photos among many:

Oh, where is little Maggie?

March 3rd, 2010

Maggie has been one of my most beloved subjects ever since I met her when I first started dating Justin. She’s his spunky little pug dog, and she’s about 10 years old. She’s been my sidekick, whenever I was taking new photos for my country fine art series around Christiana, PA. More photos with a [...]

Kate needs some Shuga!

March 3rd, 2010

Hey girls and boys! I’ve decided to kick off the month of March with a raffle! Why? Because even though snow is pretty, frankly, I’m sick of it… The only way to cure my post-cabin fever is electronic love aka LOTS OF COMMENTS!

Hope everyone had a great Valentines! Justin and I just celebrated our first as newlyweds, and he went all out for it!

He’s always amazing at cooking, but since it was such a big occasion, he decided that he really wanted to make something incredible and special for our Valentine’s Dinner! And, of course, I was there to take pictures of the whole event! :)

We went to Hill’s Seafood (an awesome small chain that sells SUPER fresh seafood, check it out!) to get scallops and lobster tails and then ran over to Wegman’s to get blood oranges, shallots and the other fresh ingredients he needed to make two of the dishes he was planning on!

Recipes of both dishes can be found on the two links at the end of this post!

It’s finally time to post about our big bash in September!!  Justin and I tied the knot on September 12th and it couldn’t of been a more beautiful day (even though it was raining)!0169

As you know, when I cover weddings, I love to capture the details of the day (One of my favorite parts, since it really captures the mood of the entire event). I mentioned this to our EXTREMELY talented photographer, Tiffany Atlas, and her beautiful coverage blew us away! Here are a couple of her details (after the jump!): Read the rest of this entry »
