Russell James Picked My Photo As A Finalist!

Amazing, world-renown fashion photographer, Russell James, is holding a contest for landscape photography on his Facebook page and he picked this photo as one of the 15 finalists!

From the finalists, the winner will be whoever gets the most “likes” by this Friday, 12 PM Est.

Here’s instructions on how to vote:

Log in to your Facebook Account

Go to http://www.facebook.com/RussellJames and click the “Like” button at the top of his page. You’ll need to do this to be able to vote.

Then go to his “Photo Contest” tab at the top of his profile

Gallery Month Over… :(

This past Wednesday marked the end of the gallery month at the Grand in Wilmington. It was so much fun!

With the weather so hot…

Stacy and Marco were married January 2nd this year, with the winter winds blowing! Their wedding was absolutely beautiful, having their ceremony at St. Mary’s of the Assumption and their reception in The Patio in Archmere. Here’s a little sample of how their day went:

The reception was absolutely stunning, with Offshoots’ floral arrangements accompanied by the chic lighting of BEW Productions! Patricia Payne did a wonderful job of coordinating the whole day!

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a beautiful slideshow of the engagement photos we did in August around Center City, Philadelphia, plus a wonderful video of the wedding so far, all done the same day by the amazing Kenneth Stillman Video crew!

The Art Loop info is up!

Thanks for your patience with my silence on this blog, I’ve been so busy this summer, it’s been amazing! Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the current info for this Friday’s art gallery showing at The Grand in Wilmington, DE!

Art Bus Pickup will be at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts

200 S. Madison St., Wilmington, DE

It leaves at 5:45 and returns at 8:45 PM, but you can also go at your own pace and visit each gallery on your own!

Busy Busy Bee!

It’s been so crazy busy over the past couple weeks. I have a wedding each weekend (the weekend of the 21st I had two back to back as well), just finished shooting for Thembi Palmer’s beautiful jewelry, planning many more fashions shoots with the likes of Tree and Kimball, Cultivar, Vagabond Boutique, Darcy Law Couture, Fresh Ayer, etc, shot two beautiful ladies last weekend for their boudoir shoots, 3 engagement sessions with amazing adorable couples, 2 beautiful family portraits, AND getting ready for my art gallery showing at The Grand July 9th!

I feel like I’m singing 12 Days of Christmas…or more like 12000000 Days of Summer! :)

BUT to keep your attention and entertain you while I begin editing all of the above, I would love to share this hilarious video I found.  Shot in 1000 FPS, its amazing how advanced our video and camera capturing has become! Enjoy

Emily and John – An Old Hollywood Wedding in the Fall!

I wanted to post this wedding for such a long time, and since today is Emily and John’s 6 month anniversary, I thought this would be perfect timing! Seems like I’m starting a trend now, thinking back to my other post! :)

They are such fun, amazing people and it was amazing covering their beautiful wedding! They had a great “Old Hollywood” vibe and a great group of friends and family! Needless to say, it wasn’t hard for me and my assistant to get inspired!

Man, Can Craig Bickhardt Sing!

I love featuring local artists and musicians on here, since they are the reason I get inspired in the first place with photography. So when I heard Craig Bickhardt on Reverbnation, I had to give a shout out! He is one of those musicians whose songs take you to another place entirely, with soothing melodies and quaint, beautiful harmonies. I reached out to tell him I loved “Carrying a Dream” and he was so kind to send me two of his albums, Easy Fires and Brother to the Wind, show below!

It’s Official! I’ll be the Featured Artist at the Main Stage Gallery in The Grand!

July 2nd is the launch of my showing for a month, and I’ll be at The Grand that night from 6-8pm for the Art Loop in Wilmington, DE.

EDIT: It may land on July 9th, because of an apparent holiday I’m not aware of. I’m discussing with the curator at the Grand to see what is the real date of the art loop. I’ll keep you readers updated!

It’ll feature my fine art work in Christiana, PA, focusing on the countryside, with these photos among many:
